Experiencing Brazilian Waxing
For many women, the main thing holding them back from a Brazilian wax is the fear of pain. If you have never experienced a Brazilian wax before, the thought of it can be overwhelming and intimidating. Here at Individual Expressions, we know all about Staten Island waxing, and we want to walk you through the process.
Preparation for a Brazilian wax begins at home before you ever step foot into our facilities. There is no need to groom yourself before your appointment. Freshening up with a body wipe is sufficient. Additionally, make sure your hair is long enough for waxing. Trimming the area beforehand is not necessary.
As much as we would like to guarantee a pain-free experience, that is not possible. Brazilian waxes hurt but thankfully the pain does not last long. The level of pain will differ per person. Some are more tolerant to pain than others. The good thing to know is that the more you wax, the less painful it will become. With time, the hair becomes weaker making it easier to remove.
Being comfortable is the best way to ensure that your Brazilian waxing experience will go as smoothly as possible. For many, the thought of baring it all to a stranger can be nerve wracking. The estheticians at Individual Expressions are highly trained professionals and want to make you as comfortable as possible. Do not be afraid to ask any questions. Additionally, if you are experiencing any pain or discomfort during the procedure, let someone know.
